Global politics today is shaped by economic and geopolitical competition between China and the United States. In this session, Chinese labor activist Kevin Lin will be talking to the book he recently co-authored China in Global Capitalism: Building International Solidarity Against Imperial Rivalry. Lin will discuss the themes of the book- the rise of capitalism in China, class struggle, China’s place in the new world of inter-imperialist rivalry and crisis, and the possibilities for international working-class solidarity- in conversation with Australian Marxist Tom Bramble.
