The Palestinian struggle for freedom has historically been contested between nationalists, Islamists and various left-wing forces. This talk will consider the history of the Palestinian left from the 1970s to the post-Oslo Accord years. In particular it will look at the politics and strategies of the Popular and Democratic Fronts for the Liberation of Palestine.
