Revolutionary Alliances: The Role of Students and Workers in Struggle
2:15pm Sat 04 Aprmelbourne
The working class is the only force that can defeat capitalism. Class society, though, produces numerous other classes and social layers that can have grievances with the system. In contemporary capitalism, one of the largest layers is the huge layer of university students across the world. Throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, we have seen many examples of student rebellions on a local and national level, and campuses have emerged as one of the potential sites for radical politics and struggle. This session will look at how a revolutionary alliance can be forged between students and workers.
