Perspectives for building a revolutionary party in Australia today
11:45am Fri 26 Marmelbourne
Australia is a wealthy country, yet millions face rising rents, insecure work and the erosion of public services, while governments pour billions into military spending and the rich continue to profit.
The far right is gaining ground, racism is being weaponised, and imperialism is intensifying. What does a revolutionary socialist response to these crises look like?
This session will examine the state of Australian capitalism, the political forces shaping the country and the challenges facing the left. We'll explore how workers can fight back, why we need a political alternative to Labor and the Liberals, and how to build a socialist movement capable of challenging capitalism and fighting for a fundamentally different society.
