2:15pm Fri 29 Marmelbourne
About this session
The relative acceptance of lesbian, gay and bisexual people in the advanced capitalist world has not come about without a fight. An important phase of this fight occurred in the 1960s and 70s with the advent of the Gay Liberation Movement. This session will look at how the movement emerged and developed in Australia, it’s politics and the legacy it has left.
