History of SA: Fighting for ideas
2:15pm Sun 05 Aprmelbourne
From our origin as a handful of activists, Socialist Alternative has grown to become the largest revolutionary organisation in Australia with a steadily expanding and youthful membership.
In our own modest way, we’ve been able to establish a socialist presence that shapes campaigns and carves out principled left-wing positions on major political questions, from identity politics to national liberation.
This session will explore the driving aims and methodology behind our growth, turning points and successes, and what we’ve learned about building a revolutionary group from small beginnings.
