How should the left understand and fight the far right in an era of economic crisis, climate catastrophe and intensifying political instability?

Isabella Weber’s work on antifascist economics and Naomi Klein’s End Times Fascism offer influential perspectives on the relationship between capitalism and the far right.

This session critically examines their arguments from a revolutionary socialist perspective, exploring the limits of economic reform and appeals to democratic norms, and debating what kind of mass movement can confront fascism at its roots.
