Antifascist Theatre: Staging till 'The Day I Die'
7:00pm Fri 26 Marmelbourne
How can theatre expose the brutality of fascism and inspire resistance? Written by British playwright Clifford Odets in 1935, Till the Day I Die dramatises the persecution of anti-Nazi resistance fighters in Germany, capturing the terror of a society under fascist rule.
The play has recently been staged in Melbourne and this session will hear from some of the performers and producers about their experiences.
