Sixteen years ago, George W. Bush launched the invasion of Iraq. Bush and Co. intended the second Iraq War as a stepping-stone to wider domination of the Middle East. This war built on the Bush family legacy of invading Iraq, and continued a long line of western interventions in the country. This session will look at the history and legacy of western intervention in Iraq.
