In the face of media attempts to present the Israel's assault on Gaza as a response to October 7, the left has argued that Israel's genocidal ambitions are fundamental to the state's very existence.
Distinguished Professor Ilan Pappe will present a history of Zionism's racist and colonial project. He will argue that since 1948 - and indeed, before that - supporters of Israel have been planning to conquer larger and larger parts of territory in Palestine and the broader Middle East, and to eliminate or expel those who stood in their way.
